    I've always been drawn to the arts, and believe that art facilitates connection, healing, learning, and amusement for all. I am excited about creating more opportunities for people to access art events and programming. I am thrilled to be part of this group of wacky and wonderful people who have big dreams and are ready to serve this community.

    As a life-long artist, I am thrilled to be working with a passionate group of like-minded individuals who value nurturing creativity and curating unique and accessible arts opportunities for our community. Engaging in the arts is a recognized determinant of health and well-being and I share in the values of our society in that I want to help create accessible arts experiences for people of all ages in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. My involvement with the society reflects my passionate commitment to nurturing creativity, supporting fellow artists, and contributing to a vibrant and inclusive arts community.

    As an expressive art facilitator, music student, writer, maker and boundless creator, I know the incredible benefits of the arts - for the individual and society. I am so enthusiastic and optimistic about promoting a new profile for the arts in this area. We have a strong and passionate team to help make it happen and I can’t wait to see how we engage and grow with our community.

    I consider myself to be a passionate creative, one that refuses to conform to normative thinking and as a journalist, I’m always questioning. The arts hold such a powerful role that is crucial to the development of young and old minds alike — the opportunity to bring art and resources to our community, and beyond, is such an exciting venture. Eager to watch this unfold and serve our community!
